to cultivate a Mindful Body & Embodied Mind

Taoist Meditation and Qigong practice centers on dissolving, releasing and letting go of the physical, emotional and mental locks that create certain barriers that can and will interfere with life's natural harmony. Through our thoughts, actions, and behaviors that manifest and cling to these blockages, we find ourselves frustrated, obsessed, and tense. These tendencies will typically feed on themselves creating a downward spiral of sorts, leading one to lose their sense of purpose and direction, that may lead to lethargic or chaotic behaviors and ultimately a sense of being tired and unfullfilled.

We find that the mind, body, and the energies that flow through them are connected in such a way that imbalances in the body will affect the mind, and mental/emotional imbalances will effect the physical body.  Therfore, by simply bringing the mind and body into simple harmony, the energies will fall into a natural unincumbered flow resulting in the reversal of these imbalances. We learn to disengage from self-inflicted demands and expectations, put aside false fears and frustrations, and gain confidence in ourselves, our internal strength, and the clarity of each moment we move through,
